how can i show duplicated images on my time line.

Hi all how can i show duplicated images on my time line.  i know how to do it with video but im working on a job with loads of  photos and i dont want to use the same one twice, i know in the bin they will have the blue box if they have been used but how can i tell if they have been used more than once on the timeline? thanks for reading
