how do i add a custom text style and animation to captions all at once?

so when i transcribe the video, i cant seem to add a animation and style of my choice to it, i usually can drag a saved preset to manually added text but that takes ages, is there a feature on how to do this with captions?

In the Create Captions dialog, there's an option for Style. If you create a Captions Style, you apply it from there.

Ive tried to do that, but it never appears there for some reason

Did you create the style in the Captions page process?

no, how do you do that? and how do you save it for future use?

This is of course in the Graphics & Captions workspace.

Select the first section of the transcript on the sequence. Then go to the Edit tab of the Essential Graphics panel on the right side. Set your font/size and stuff.

Now the top section on the right will say something like C:1 Subtitle. Right below that line it says Track Style, with None in the box. Click on the None, and the dropdown will show Create Style. Click on that, name your style. This should set the Track Style option to what you've just named.

The rest of that track should now be set to the same style. And in the future, that named style should show up in the Create Captions dialog.

that does work, thanks, but i am still unable to add an animation to them

There's no animation for captions.

hmmm, is there a way to convert the captions with the style i appled into text that you can edit,

ive noticed that you can export to SRT etc
