how do I add a line to a helicopter aerial survey video that shows a path on the ground below

i have a video shot from a helicoopter of a underground waterline route and I want to add a blue line that shows the waterline route on top of the ground as the helicopter flies along the route.

How do i do that?

You could open the essential graphics panel. Also use the pen tool to draw a line.

if you want an animated line you'd use After Effects.

You can totally animate a line in Premiere as well using essential graphics. But if you want to use Motion tracking, I would indeed use After Effects.
