How do I turn error message back on as file opens?

After dozens of pho ne calls and emails over the course of many months, I have never been able to get rid of an error message for a missing Black Magic Raw filter - that is not missing. I finally got tired of seeing the error message. Today I clicked the box that said "don't show this error again.' MISTAKE!!! Now I crash every time I export or render. How do I turn the error message back on when the file is opening? There is no way this is a coincidence. Any help is appreciated. I do not want to fix the filter proble. I just want to see the error message, so I can click OK and get back to my old life that existed this morning.
