Hi everyone,
I have downloaded some premade transitions for Premiere Pro. Most of them are made for FHD but as I am working in 4k, I have to upscale the transition's adjustment layers to 100%. Unfortunately, this results in the transitions looking broken. As most of the free downloadable transitions for Premiere Pro 23 are made for FHD, I am wondering, if there is a way to make them work in 4k too?
Thanks for the help
Steffen

Thanks for posting your question. I think I understand your situation. You are using products that were designed for HD but you need them to operate in 4K. Sorry about that. There is no button to push to make them available for 4K. See if the manufacturer offers 4K versions of the effects. If not, you'd essentially have to rebuild them on your own manually.

Thanks for posting your question. I think I understand your situation. You are using products that were designed for HD but you need them to operate in 4K. Sorry about that. The reason that these HD "transitions" don't work in 4K is because they aren't standard transitions. They are effects that play as transitional elements. A standard transition (like you'd find in the Effects > Transitions bin) would work in both HD and 4K. However, a transition effect created with a combination of Adjustment Layers, nested sequences, and effects presets would all have to be adjusted if you are not operating with footage and sequence settings they were designed for.
Sorry for the frustration. Let us know if you need help with adjusting these effects to suit you.
Thanks.
