How do you copy a Dip to Black effect to another clip?

Hello, I am currently editing a long video into batches of smaller clips. I want to keep the exact timing of my Dip to Black effect across all the clips. Logic says I should be able to copy/paste the effect to the other clips, or duplicate the effect somehow.

"Dip to Black" doesn't appear in the Effects panel as an effect, so I can't select it to copy/paste. Clicking and dragging does nothing.

Any help is appreciated.

Dip to black is a transition, not an effect.

See this video to do that (Control + C and Control + V for Windows):

Another way to do that is to keyframe the opacity of a black video clip above the clip's end.

Copy and paste the black video clip above all clips needing dip to black.
