Is there a way to make key frames in back to back stills automatically adjust when I add a cross dissolve between the two stills? As it stands, the movement I apply to the first still stops at the beginning of the dissolve and the move I apply to the second still does not begin until after the dissolve. This forces me to go back in and readjust the key frames which is an immense waste of time.
It sounds like you don't have enough handles:

You're talking about PP right? Did you just put your cursor between the two clips and press Ctrl-D, there are no keyframes involved in that process.

There isn't an automatic way to adjust keyframes for cross dissolves. However, when animating stills with cross dissolves, I recommend using two tracks. This allows you to easily view and adjust keyframes directly in the timeline.

You can also use the Effect controls and open the transition.
Move the keyframe of the left clip all the way to the right end of the transition.
Might want to Unpin the clip first.
As a side note: a still never has no or too little handles as the total duration of a still is 12h.
