How to delete a project in this panel?

Resetting preferences would get rid of all of them. I don't really know what you'd do to get rid of one single one. There might be a directory file you could go into. Hopefully somebody else will have some insight. Beyond just opening other things to knock it off the carousel.

The question is how to delete a file.    the answer is to delete the project.    Is the file the project?    How do you delete the file?   thanks
