How to fade out to black multiple channels equally?

Is there a way to route all video channels to a bus like in Audition? and then fade them all from there?

I have a video with 3 video channels overlapping.  2 of the channels have an alpha channel (obviously) so the bottom channel can be seen through them - other top layers are logos. When I manually fade each channel out you see that they are different layers when they become transparent - it looks really bad. I want them as 1 layer and the whole scene to be completely faded equally.

The only way so far I know to achieve this is to remove the fades, export the video, then re import it and apply the fade.  There HAS to be a better way to do this! please tell there is...

Try nesting the 3 clips together and then applying the dissolve to the end of the nest.

Or try using the opacity control on each layer and adding keyframes to bring it down to 0%.

An adjustment layer works like a bus track

Place an adjustment layer on top of the layers you want to adjust.

Now you can do a couple of things...

Add a fade to black to the adjustment layer and all the layers below it will fade to black.

OR  go to Effects Controls of the Adjustment layer, and change the Blend mode to either Subtract or Difference.  If Opacity is at 100% then all the layers will be black.  keyframe opacity from 0 - 100% to get fade to black.

Try playing around with the adjustment layer blend mode like exclusion - you then get a negative. (With Opacity at 100%

(I know it's like 6 year late, but)
In the past, I'd create a black (File > New > Color matte or Black Video that's like 2 seconds long. Put it as the top layer and apply the dissolve transition to it to fade it on.  It would stop the multiple layers from showing half transparency while they faded out.

Another option I just tried that seem to have the same success was to apply the "Dip to Black" to all of the video layers. (three for me) and it achieved the same effect wiout needing a 4th video track from the previous solution.
