how to fix the infinite # of copy of the same clip in PP?

Hi community,

I work for a company. We gather a lot of B-roll from different events.

I have a master b-roll projet with different sequences for each project, where I log/select the usuable b-roll.

I have 2 questions for you, community:

1. at the moment, what I do when I start a new marketing project, I create a new PP project specific to that marketing piece. And I open my master b-roll project and copy clips of the b-roll I've selected in that master b-roll project and paste it into my current marketing project. But what happens is that it creates duplicates of clips and creates a new source file for each clip I've copied/pasted. A nightmare!

2. In the past, I have tried the project manager to export each individual clip of the master b-roll PP by using the "consolidate and trascode", but it hasn't work. Anyone has a nice workflow around about that?
