Do you just want to see the waveforms or do you want control of the levels of the clip?

Find your clip in the Project Window > right click > Modify > Audio Channels...

Here you can change the setup of the channels of the clip. Change the "Clip Channel Format" to Mono and add 6 tracks for all of the individual tracks and use the matrix as you see fit.

When you save the settings and drag the clip on your timeline you'll get 6 mono tracks underneath your video.

didnt work. here is a screenshot. I right clicked on the clip in the timeline. I see no waveform, I see no audio meters, yet I can hear audio. If I were to be able to access the 5.1 clip in the audio mixer, can I lower 5 of the 6 parts of the clip so I just get audio from 1 part. Thanks
