I want to cut a clip in the Source Window, then save it to the Project Bin. How?!?

During previous Premiere worka while back, I seem to remember I somehow had this setting turned on, and, now it is off

If you know a way to turn on this setting so that Premier automatically saves your clips in this fashion, let me know.

Set in and out points in the Source Monitor and then go to the top of the interface, clip, make subclip. I think that they keyboard shortcut is Control or Command U. Then name and save. the subclip can then be selected in the Project Panel.
