how to use timeline clip in essential graphic?

I am trying to find out how I can use a clip from my timeline bar/workarea in an essential graphic. the essential graphic is the Lens Distortion Transitions and it says it uses two video files. I want to replace them from the work area not from a file.

You drag the file from the project window into the EGP or add as New Layer in the EGP.
