I can't open Premiere Pro project

Premiere Pro problem I am trying to open projects but when I try to open them, it says they can't open as they are in use.

However anyone who is an expert at Premiere Pro ...... I need help please!

I have file files aren't doing wnything/being used...But when I try to open them, it says they can't open as they are in use.

Where are those files located you are trying to open?

Are they on a removable drive? Copy them to your local drive and try again. 

You could give us some hardware info, mac/windows. What kind of projects. Are you clicking on the project file to open it from the OS or using the file/open command inside PP?

Can you make sure no other applications are running that may have those files opened? Try rebooting your computer completely and then launch just PP and try again. That's what would be the first thing I'd try. Report back please.
