I feel I've tried everything to open Premiere Pro and it still won't open

Hi, please help if you can! I'm using a Mac. I've uninstalled the app, and reinstralled it through Creative Cloud. Shutdown and restarted my computer several times. Tried holding down the option key when opening the app and resetting my preferences (including clearing media cache) and Premiere still won't open. It looks like it shows the initial start-up screen, and then seems to sit in the dock, but isn't actually open. I don't have anything in the tool bar. It's like it's just not there. I have to force quit. 

I don't know what else i can do?

Thnaks Ann, however i'm not trying to open an existing project. Just open premiere to start a new project. I have Premiere 25.6.2 - the latest.

Start with trashing preferences.

I did all that on start up, holding down option and clearing all the options. Still nothing.

Thanks for your suggestions Ann. I didn't run that Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool yet, but instead when i came back to my laptop after leaving it closed for five hours, the next time I tried to open Premiere, it seems to have opened! Maybe it needed a rest!
