I'm currently running version 23.0 PP, but need to run v23.1 because the Media Encoder I have access to is running version 23.1 and it won't accept a project file with a different version. The AME instance is running in a customer environment, so I cannot change its version. I've seen the solutions where they say use Creative Cloud to access older versions, but for some reason, my CC does not have the 'other versions' option in the menu. Is there any way I can get version 23.1 Premiere on my machine?
Hello All,
With Adobe support (shout out to Anmol), we were able to resolve this issue. We tried to install an older version of CC using an installer from this site:

However, the installer must be configured to automatically update CC to the latest version. I could never get an older version of CC installed on my machine.
Then we uninstalled again, and this time renamed these directories:
C:\Program Files\Adobe

In the CC desktop app's Preferences, I think it is, there's an option to "show older versions".
If that is checked, then when you click on the far right icon for the particular program, for that pop-up menu, you get the option for other versions.

Hi Neil,
Thanks for your response. Yes, I have this 'Show Older Versions' button selected in the 'Preferences' section of CC. I still don't see the 'other versions' options. I have colleagues who are able to see the 'other versions' selection, so am wondering if there is a machine specific setting that is preventing me from seeing this.

In the Apps tab, where all the installed apps are listed, off to the far right of each apps line is a little icon.
That has several options and should include other versions ...

Uninstall the CC desktop, redownload and install. See how that goes.

After this installation, I could now see the 'other versions' selection in CC and therefore was able to downgrade my Premiere Pro to version 23.1.
Thanks to all on this thread for your help!
