Image compression upon export

Hello all.

I'm doing a video where i'm overlaying two video images over each other and it looks clean. When I export my video, it looks compressed and over exposed.

any ideas on how to fix this?

I Think I am having a similar problem. A buddy of mine sent me some footage of a thing he made for his kids and wanted me to sync the original audio to it. No effects just new audio, and you can see the difference.
