I imported audio from audacity, and it sounds worse that it should. I thought maybe it was a problem with the audio, and asked around the Audacity forum, but we couldn't find a solution. I put the audio file through a audio-playing site, and it sounded normal. However with Premiere Pro it sounds different. What do I do?

NiNSFFB,
Sorry. There's been some problems some are having with .mp3 files as of late. I don't have the complete picture yet, though. Where did you get the original .mp3 file?
Thanks,
Kevin

I recorded it in Audacity using my microphone.

Got it, thanks! Can you try exporting the same file in .wav format? What happens then?

The result is the same. It still sounds bad 😞

Ok, so I just exported a test Premiere Pro project with the "bad" audio, and it sounds good. I guess my problem is fixed, but I would prefer if the audio sounded like it should all of the time.
