Hello Community,

For the past day I have been getting two errors. Them being "An error performing a conform action" and "A low level exception occurred in ImporterMPEG(Importer:25)". Can someone give me the solution to fix this?

Hi WhoIsG,

Sorry for the issue. The error message is pointing to media cache. Try clearing the media cache and check if it fixes the issue.

Here are the steps: FAQ: How to clean (delete or trash) media cache files?

Please let us know the status after testing.

Thanks,

Vidya

I am guessing you have a corrupt audio file.

Do these same clips open and play in other applications without any issues? If so, would it be possible for you to supply some sample clip(s) for investigation?

Thank you.

Yes the video audio and file works. I opened it in VLC and it is working. It seems to be a Adobe Premiere Pro causing the error.

Thank you.

Would it be possible to supply us with sample clip(s)? This will be of great help to figure out the issue.

Thank you.

Hello,
I have the same problem. It seems that it is really a mistake in the audio track file.
There is no error after VLC conversion. Can I provide video files for analysis?

MAC - Premiere Pro 13.1.5 (Build 47) - Problem

WIN - Premiere Pro CS6 (v 6.0.5(001 (MC: 264587)) - Open and no problem

Clip has 105MB and is from action camera.

Thank you.

I'm glad to see that I'm not the only one with the same problem.

At least it's only the files from my Polaroid CUBE camera.

I am having this same problem. Was there ever a solution found to this?

I have a PC, and the video works fine when played in other applications such as Windows media player, but becomes corrupt once imported into Premiere

I have had so many issues like this but finally found a way to get it working. By using VLC Media Player, I was able to convert each video file to H265 format. It looks jumpy when converted and played through VLC, but when imported to Premiere, it goes as normal, but with a couple glitches. Once the final product is exported properly, then it's perfect.

I am currently having this issue and having trouble resolving it, it is slowing my software. I converted some files that probably do have audio issues but how do I fix this issue?
