Importing audio in the timeline

Hello guys,

I am having problems importing the audio of mp4 files into the timeline, it only allows me to import the video part but not the audio part (photos attached).

Does anyone have any answers to this problem? I would be very grateful

The most common user error is not source patching the track.
Solved by first opening clip in Source Monitor. Then drag/insert into timeline.
