Importing more than one video forces the second video to be audio only, despite the videos showing and playing with both video and audio into the media source viewer.

 

So far, I've managed to edit the first half of this video and exported it just to keep it saved. 
When i tried to import the second video whilst working on the original project, it was audio only. So i did the above and exported the original video

 

I cleared the project and started a new one

This original second video now works with audio and video but when I try to import the recently exported video from premier - thats now audio only


It's driving me inside, i had this finished in 15 minutes on free software without any hiccups besides a god awful water mark i'm not using premier to avoid

LATEST

The most common user error is not source patching the track.
Solved by first opening clip in Source Monitor. Then drag/insert into timeline.
