I am trying to create a home family video, to be displayed using a projector using clips from multiple sources that have different resolutions and frame rates.
The different resolutions and frame rates are as follows:
By default when I put all the clips in a single sequence it scales all the footage to 272 x 1080. Now besides that this resolution is obviously very low, it crops the clips in a way that only part of faces are visible.
The 272x480 is a problem, as that is such a small frame-size.
The 1080 & 720 could be worked on a 720 sequence.
So ... perhaps creating a sequence by dropping a clip of the 720 on the timeline, and letting PrPro set the sequence settings. Then drop the 1080 files onto that but first make sure that in your Preferences file, "Default scale to framesize" is not checked, as you'll want to set the 1080 to the 720 sequence.
And see how well it handles the frame-rate change.
