Installed Transitions via Creative Cloud Desktop (CCD) app

I installed a Free Transitions Pack for Adobe Premiere Pro using the Creative Cloud Desktop (CCD) app.
I can see that the Transitions Pack was Installed but I can't find them in Adobe Premiere Pro.

Does anyone know where in Adobe Premiere Pro I can find these newly installed transitions?

Thank you!

Hi Marley,
Native Video Transitions should be available in your effect library:
Effects > Video Transitions > [the name of the vendor]
If you are dealing with so-called transition templates, they could be anywhere.
Try and find some good transitions. I can't recommend Film Impact video transitions enough.

Tell us what Free Transition Pack you are dealing with.
Best, Jay

These are templates. I'm not a big fan of those, since they are hard to customize or lengthen.
They mess up your timeline quickly too, adding all sorts of layers on top of your transition area.
Templates usually have their own windows from where you can drop the transitions:

Menu > Window > Extensions > [vendor name]
Again if you want real transitions, look for Film Impact. It's really all you'll need.
It will keep your timeline neat and clean.

Interesting I don't even have "Extensions" on my Windows menu??

OK I'll look into Film Impact - many thanks for your advice.

Just to be sure you understand, that's on the Premiere menu, the Windows options to the right side, where all the workspaces and panels are listed.

I feel stupid asking you but would you be willing to show me a screenshot? I still can't find "Extensions" anywhere.

Thanks for doing that! Now I can definitely see that "Extensions" is grayed out but is there...so that tells me the Plugin I installed must not actually be compatible with my version of Premiere 2022! Many thanks Neil!

Most likely not compatible with 2022.1 and above.

Btw they are not real transitions but rather effects put in a sequence, used as an overlay, which acts like a transition.
