Hi
Recently we had some footage which are UHD SDR but the color space was on "BT.2020" so in order to correct it we used the "Interpret footage" functionality, but when we checked after the process, the media info/properties of the clip still displays the color space as BT.2020 HLG instead of Rec.709. Any idea why or is there another to correct this error ?

what do you mean by checked after the process? you mean, when you exported it? did you export the color management with the new profile as well? did the image look correct in premiere's timeline?

hi,
yes, when we exported the clip we noticed that color space shows as Bt.2020 and on the premiere's timeline it does look correct.

you need to export with rec. 709 metadata. see

Ok ... what's the properties of the clip in the Project panel bin after the CM setup in Interpret Footage? Right-click, Properties, tell us what Premiere shows there.
Also ... what's the color space of the sequence? With it active in the timeline panel, check your Sequence settings and see what the CM says there.
And which preset did you use for export?
Also ... what's the clip? Made by what camera with what settings?

I don't suppose you could dropbox the clip for me to test, ah well. Still trying to come up with something here.

Hi
I would be able to drop a partial of the clip, maybe a 2 mins clip instead of the whole clip. Is that okay ?

It couldn't be an exported segment, would need to be an original camera created clip. Could be a very short thing of course.
