Hello,

When I import videos from my iPhone 12 Pro to PremierPro, they look washed out, or overexposed.  As I understand things, this is becuase Dolby HDR is not supported.

Is there a work around I can use to get the color back in my videos?

Also, any idears when Aobe will eventually provide support for Dolby HDR?

This is the solution I found - which is QUICK and EASY - and seems to have sorted it out for me. I think it's the HEVC codec causing the issues with colour translation into Premiere.

I simply loaded up my movie into quicktime on a MAC and exported it to H264 codec which takes 1-10 mins depending on the length of your film. Mine was 10 mins which took about 6 mins to export.

I then reimported this H264 version into Premiere and the colour is back as you'd expect it to be, requiring a little bit of colour tweaking. It still isn't perfect but much closer to original.

Hope this helps you.
