Hi,
I'm editing a short film with iPhone XR footage, and the audio in my clip alternates between muffled and clear. This only happens in Premiere Pro. Does anybody know why? I have film crackles playing in A2. Could this be the reason?
Thanks

What happens if you mute A2?
Are any audio effects applied?

No, I muted A2, but nothing happened. There are no audio effects.
It was windy when I filmed the clips, could this be the reason?

Make sure Default Input in the Audio Hardware in the Preferences is set to No Input.

doing some editing in after effects
By @lmaoyz
Rather than that, it would be better to edit the audio in Audition.

I was talking about some visual effects. I want to finish those first and was wondering if the issue could be fixed after finishing the visual effects.

I would try transcoding with Handbrake or ShutterEncoder before I start working in After Effects, in case that fixes it.

Do you mean from mp4 to mkv?
