Ever since timeline based editing has been introduced... the timeline lag and responsiveness has been wrecked. Is there a way to delete transcripts? or turn off text-based editing?
It seems like once a transcript is made, that's it and the timeline live updates in the background even if you don't have the text panel open.
Things are moving super slow... let us turn this off entirely
Are you on version 23.5 of Premiere Pro ? There were some significant improvements related to timeline updates and text based editing in this update. Do you also see the effect of a slower timeline on sequences without transcriptions too?
