Is there any way to use automate to sequence, but instead of photos, it does keyframes?

I'm working on a lyric video where I'd like the screen to flash a little with every drum hit, and I'm hoping there is a way to do it using the Automate to Sequence function, or something similar.  Does anyone here know of any way to do that?

You may be able to do that in After Effects.
