Hello!
I have been having an issue installing extensions to my Adobe programs, especially Adobe Premiere Pro. Whenever I run an installation .dmg file from the third party extension, I go through the steps of installing like normal. Once it says it installs, I open Premiere and it does not appear in my extentions. This issue has been happening for the past year, and I believe only on my current laptop. I am not able to try on a different system at the moment.
I have found that I have to manually install my extensions by putting the files in /Users/name/Library/Application Support/Adobe/CEP/extensions. This works for Premiere and After Effects. I am thinking it is installing to the incorrect folder, but when I try to change the installation location, the only choice it gives me is the harddrive, which isn't very helpful. The extension that I am trying to use only offers the .dmg download of the extension, so I cannot install manually unfortunately.
I have no other Premiere Pro versions still installed from previous editions (at least that is what it says in Adobe CC), so it is not installing to a 'different' Premiere Pro.
Does anyone have any potential solutions to this issue?
Thank you in advance!
OS: Mac, Ventura 13.4
Premiere Pro version: 23.6

Try contacting support at the site of the extension vendor.

I have contacted and I am waiting for their answer, but I am assuming this issue is on my end since I cannot install any extensions.

UPDATE: I reached out to the vendor, and they could not find a solution either. I followed every step correctly on the installation process. Ultimately, they had to send me the unpackaged files so I could install correctly. I feel like this confirmed my suspiscions that this is not a vendor issue and something is wrong on my end. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!
