keyframing blendmode

hello is it possible to change the blenmodes through keyframing, or any other way to automate it?

you cannot keyframe blending modes by themselves but you can keyframe the Opacity property from Motion.

I cannot exactly know what you are trying to achieve, if you tell us more it would be better.

Meanwhile, when you create your opacity keyframes, you can save them as presets in order to use them on

multiple other clips, just by dragging and dropping the preset.

if you want to change from one blending mode to another, this is not keyframeable, but you can make

duplicates of your clip, and apply a blending mode to each one. You can also use nesting, it all depends

on your workflow and what you are trying to achieve.

simply want to change at a certain point from NORMAL to LIGHTEN

as you said, i might split the clip and apply 2 different blkend modes

i was looking for something nicer though..but for this case will work good like this also i think

Cut the clips. Change the blending mode on each one to whatever you want.
