Dear Adobe Premiere Pro Team,
I am writing this letter in utmost frustration and disappointment regarding the absence of a feature that allows users to delete automatically generated transcripts within the software. I recently encountered a grave issue when I accidentally selected the wrong language for transcription, resulting in incorrect subtitles in the transcript. And now, to my dismay, I find myself unable to rectify this mistake and generate accurate German subtitles!
This limitation is beyond infuriating. It is absolutely absurd that I am unable to delete the inaccurate transcript and start afresh. As a consequence, I am left with no other option but to manually configure the timing of each individual word, an incredibly time-consuming and tedious process. This hampers my ability to effectively utilize subtitles for my project, making it virtually impossible to meet my requirements.
I implore you, as the Adobe Premiere Pro Team, to recognize the urgency of this matter. It is inconceivable that such a vital feature is missing from your software, leaving users stranded with faulty transcripts. I request that you prioritize the implementation of a transcript deletion feature, enabling users to correct their mistakes and generate accurate subtitles effortlessly.
Please understand that my anger stems from a genuine need for efficient and user-friendly software. I trust that you will take my concerns seriously and work towards rectifying this glaring deficiency promptly. Your immediate attention to this matter will not only alleviate my frustrations but also enhance the overall user experience for countless others facing a similar predicament.

It is possible to re-transcribe and select a different language. What version of PR are you in? I assume 23.4 or 23.5. If the transcriptions are of source files, one method is to right-click on the source file in the Project Panel and pick re-transcribe. You should get the dialogue that allows selecting language. If you do not, or if you are using a different PR version, a screenshot would help.
Or just use the old method and ignore the source transcripts. Create a "static transcript" of your sequence by using the 3 dot menu in the transcript tab and pick the correct language.
