I have issues with lag and stuttering playing back material shot on a Sony A7SIIi in 4K 50p 200mbs 10-bit 4:2:2 S-log3 on both a 1080 and 4K timeline. It starts playing back ok, but after 5-10 seconds it begins to lag heavily. 25p material same specs plays back like butter.
I have tried everything: playback resolution, LUTs and effects off, disabled and enabled everything. Reinstall, downgrade to version 23.0, downgraded Nvidia driver etc with no luck. The weird thing is that my system
ia not at work at all. CPU:25-30 %, Harddrive: 10-20%, RAM: 10-20%, GPU:15-40 %. Nothing even close to peaking.
My system: i7-9950 3,3Mhz, 128 GB ram, 3060TI 8GB, SSD disks, windows 11. Everything updated and optimized. Is it because premiere pro still does not support hardware 264/265 HEVC 10-but 4:2:2

Seems I have solved this issue by pressing ALT key during startup and then select Reset app preferences, Clear media Cache files, Reset plugin loading Cache and hit continue. After that it played back much better. Even at full resolution and with LUT.
Furthermore I moved my data-files to another and faster disk, which made playback even a bit more smoother.
Hope this solved the issue completely and might help somone else.
