Lagging with essential graphics open?

My premiere pro runs totally fine normally with no lag or issues, but when the essential graphics tab is open at all, the timeline chugs behind and the video will also lag. If essential graphics is closed, the issue goes away, does anyone else have this issue?

try to reset Premiere Pro Preferences or maybe a graphics card update if applicable.

What are your system specs and what version of Premiere Pro are you using by the way?
