Hi IslandFox,
Thanks for the message. What is going wrong? May we have more information, please? Sorry for the issue.
Thanks,

I've replied on other threads with no response but have noticed that transcription isn't working as it did in version 24.x. In my specific use case, un-muted audio clips don't transcribe, the transcription panel doesn't update and in some cases, no transcription appears until I save and restart Premiere Pro.
I'm editing around 75 short form pieces of content weekly and it's a HUGE time sink to have to constantly restart Premiere Pro after EVERY edit.

I'm using:
Apple Macbook Pro
M4 Pro
Tahoe 26.1
Issue has been happening since 25.5; if uninstall and revert back to 24.x, the issues go away. Really trying to use the 25.5 for a lot of the FilmImpact transitions which are great.

Sorry I did not see your other posts.
I have not seen a general problem with simply doing transcriptions in 25.5.0. Note that you can install 24 alongside 25; you do not need to uninstall 25. When version 26 comes out, you will lose the ability to install 24, but you can keep it installed.
A workaround for the transcription is to transcribe in 24, export the transcription (.prtranscript type file), and import it to a PR 25 project. Yes, ugly.
There is a bug in PR 25.5 where a duplicated sequence results in the transcript from the original sequence persisting, even though the clip is is associated with has been replaced. At least one other user has the same symptom but without having duplicated the sequence. This happened sometime after version 24, and is fixed in the Beta. It is unfortunate that the 25.6 update ran into problems. I was hoping this would be fixed there. I still don't have access to 25.6.1, so have been unable to test this.
In that situation, closing and reopening the project got things back in sync - no need to restart PR. Does that work for your transcription panel not updating?
