Latest version of Premiere 2024 frozen every few minutes

Hello!
Premiere freezes every few minutes when I'm editing video. I can process things on the timeline, but playback doesn't play the timeline. the play icon remains frozen and I have to close and re-open the program again and again. then it works normally again for a few minutes. I use HP Z4 Workstation, 32GB RAM, NVIDIA graphics, GeForce Studio driver, version 546.01.

Hi @Dors336013326etm,

I read about your problem. Have you tried pressing Shift at launch and resetting preferences/deleting media cache from the Reset Options dialog box? Have you tested with a new project? Let us know your observations.

I have the same problem. When I create a new sequence with my excisting footage it seems to stay okay a bit longer. I also only have the problem while using a Multicam sequence. My other projects are working fine.

Thanks for the experience! Since I updated Premiere to the very latest
version, I no longer have this problem.

I removed premiere and did een fresh install. So it should be fixed. Moving through my time line it immediatly froze. So thats not it.

My problem is permanently fixed. I used an adjustment layer with a rec 709 lut on the 2nd layer on top of my MXF footage which was on my bottom layer. Since I deleted this, it works perfectly well!!
