Linked selection toggle not working

I am editing a video, but the video and audio tracks do not seem to be selecting or cutting at the same time if i go to make any changes.

I have tried turning on and off the linked selection which does not change anything.

If you use LInked Selection you need to unselect the clip first and then select again.

You can also check if the are linked (right click on clip: if it shows Unlink the audio and video is linked)
