Hello @Nick37347896j2qq

,

Thanks for the note. I'm Kevin from support, a mod here. I hope you are well today and that I can help you!

I understand how frustrating it can be to lose your log notes after putting in the effort to create them. There are a few potential reasons why your log notes might disappear when you reopen your project in Premiere Pro 24.3.0:

1. The log notes column may be hidden in your project panel. To check this, switch to List view in your Project panel and ensure the Log Notes column is visible.

2. Version 24.3.0 could have a bug affecting log note persistence. Adobe is aware of some issues with markers and notes in recent versions. If you are between projects, you might try updating the software.

3. Your project file may not be saved properly, causing changes to be lost on reopening.

To troubleshoot this issue, I recommend trying the following steps:

  1. Check if the log notes are visible in the List view.
  2. Save your project, close Premiere Pro completely, reopen it and check if the notes reappear.
  3. Try creating a new project and see if log notes persist there to isolate if it's a project-specific issue.
  4. Update to the latest version of Premiere Pro if you haven't already, as this may resolve any bugs.
  5. If the problem persists, consider resetting your preferences by holding Shift while launching Premiere Pro. You can reset preferences from the Reset Options dialog box. However, you will lose certain customizations.

If none of these steps resolve the issue, please let me know, and I'd be happy to explore further solutions or escalate this to our development team for investigation. We appreciate your patience as we work to improve Premiere Pro's reliability. I apologize for the frustration this issue is causing you.

Thanks,
Kevin
