Lost All Presets with 2021 Update

Ah, it's that lovely time of the year when Premiere updates and for whatever reason ignores all of my previous keyboard shortcuts, workspace presets, and effects presets when installing the new version. It's really amazing that they still haven't gotten that one figured, but anyway... I'm sure I had auto-update apps turned off, but somewhere along the way I guess a CC update got me on that one and switched it over 🙂

I would sync from the cloud, but I don't think that version is current. Making matters worse, even though I have the Premiere Pro 2020 install (which has all of the right settings), it won't open. My idea was to open 2020 and sync to the cloud. Any ideas on how to retrieve my settings locally and force the new update to accept them?

Thanks

Glad to see in 2023 this is still the case. Some extremely simple things never change 🙂
