Macbook crashes during export

New Here ,
May 13, 2020 May 13, 2020

Hi,

I've been trying to export a file but i've been experiencing some problems.

The first export took about 7 hours, and i couldn't open the exported file with any programm.

The following exports resulted in my macbook shutting down and heating up. (I attached some crash logs.)

This normally never happens so I really want to know why all of a sudden this keeps happening.

I'm working on a MacBook Pro v.10.14.4 and I'm using Premiere Pro version 14.1.

The file is about 38 minutes long and around 3 GB.

Thank you very much!

never simple to troubleshoot these problems from a distance, but if you set your sequence settings so that the preview format is the same as the format you want to export as (or a relatively lossless format like prores422) and render your entire sequence and that completes successfully, you may then be able to export with the "use previews" enabled in the export dialog.  If you can't render the complete timeline, try rendering smaller sections til you find the problem.  Could be a corrupt clip, or a clip who's format is dicey for one reason or another.  If you can render completely,  but you still can't export, you might try using the Queue option in the export dialog which will send the export to Adobe Media Encoder.  Sometimes AME will successfully export where Premiere is having a problem.

and make sure you have plenty of hard drive space on the target and startup drives.  You should always make sure you have at least 10% free space on all drives and at least 20% free on your startup drive.

And what are your export settings?  If you're using one of the standard presets in premiere, tell us which one and if you've created a customized setting, please let us know what those customized settings are.
