I am using M3 Macbook Pro. In Adobe Premiere Pro I crop the image a bit on the source monitor and put it on the timeline, then when I return to the source monitor playback starts after about 4 seconds.
While this may seem trivial, it is quite frustrating for a professional editor.
I discovered something new on the subject. When I add and play a timeline image from the source screen, I do not experience any delay when I suddenly return to the source screen.
When I put the image on the timeline screen and return to the source screen without pressing the play button, the image is played after 4 seconds.
What do you think is the solution to this problem?
I tried many ways like uninstalling the program and installing the old run, I'm looking for more solutions
Thank you from now

Hi Caykan!
Sorry about the issue. Does it happen with specific files? What's the source of the media files? Are you using external/internal or shared drive?
Let us know.
Thanks,
KR

The source is a normal simple mp4 file, it uses the computer's own hard disk.
A strange error has been triggered.
I crop the image as source. After cutting, I throw in the timeline. If it plays the Timeline screen, it waits 4 seconds and is played while switching to the source screen.
I press play on the timeline. Then, without waiting, I switch to the source screen and the problem continues.
But this is very annoying...
Thank you for trying to resolve the issue.

Hey @Caykan. Did you find any solutions to this? I am having a similar problem. I'm experiencing an (annoying) lag/delay in my source monitor whenever I insert a clip (from that source clip) into my timeline. When I return to play my source footage, there's usually like a 10 second delay. Really really annoying. I have a new Mac Studio Computer with freakin 96 GB of Ram! I've cleaned all my Cache files and all of those solutions, but still can't solve this one.
If you've figured out any solutions, I'd love to hear them. 🙂 Thank you. 🙂

Thank you for your attention. Hello @jeffk79185465 . There's probably a way that works, although I'm not sure.
First, you can try it on another computer or by opening a new project instead of the project you used before.
I was having this problem too.
I'm currently using the premier beta version.
I had the same problem when I opened my old project in beta version.
This problem was automatically resolved when I opened a new project. Seems to be working now.
When moving files from your old project to your new project, you can be careful not to use spaces in folder, project and sequence names.
There is not much difference between the normal version and the beta version. Beta also works stably and even renders faster in some codecs.
I look forward to hearing back from you about whether the advice I gave you is working.
