Markers don't move when you mive a clip on a timeline

Unfortunately, I think I discovered that when you apply markers, then drag-move the clip left or right on the timeline, the markers don't move with it. I'd like the markers to stay where I applied them.

1) Is this correct?

2) How do I prevent this from happening?

This is correct for timeline markers. If you select the clip and type "M" a marker will appear  in your clip. A clip marker will move with the clip.

Thanks...I thought clicking the Marker Icon and pressing M was the same
thing, So, to be clear, a marker above the time line and a marker IN the
clip are two different things...right?

Yes they are actually called timeline markers and clip markers.

So, to fix this, I can go to each of the timeline markers and press M, then
remove the Timeline marker.

How can I grab ALL the timeline markers and remove them all at once instead
of one by one??

I'd try right clicking on a timeline markers and see if you can delete all markers.
