Hello! Need help!
I'm working 100% in Premiere. I have a line of text as a graphic layer (generated in Premiere) that I animated to scroll from right to left. I only want this text to appear in a certain region while scrolling so I naturally went to create a mask to contain the text animation. However, the mask moves along with the text and is pointless.
I tried following the structure you'd use in AE but Transparent Layers / Adjustment Layers (even nested) in Premiere won't function like a solid in AE. That was probably wishful thinking.
How do I do this without dipping into AE?
Select the clip with the text moving right to left animation and Nest it, then apply a Track Matte to that Nest.

Thanks so much! I was trying to figure out how to get a screenshot of a webpage to scroll under a transparent browser window and I couldn't figure out how to make it quit scrolling out the top of the browser graphic.
