Masking in the new update 24.4.1

Theres an issue with the masking in the new update, I need to place my "toggle animation" one step before in order for it to be on time in frame. In the last update when i placed it in the correct frame it worked on time and I didnt have to back track a frame each movement of the mask. I hope that made sense. Or maybe my computer is just slow, its a macbook pro 2023 m3.
