I'm trying to mask out part of a letter to have the footage underneith the logo PNG visible. But when I draw the mask it is instead giving me a solid grey color matte. I'm working off a macbook pro with premier pro 2025

I would use a graphics shape for that purpose. Using the "mask with shape" option.
