I have a 3 sec. drone clip, where the drone casts a shadow. I have been trying to mask it (away), but can't really get the right result. Any ideas on the best approach?

Trying to get the mask tight enough to work without edge artifacting, then get just the right amount of brightening ... that's difficult work. If you can't get it to work in Premiere, you might find AfterEffects better masking/tracking capabilities can get the job done.

Content Aware Fill in After Effects should be able to do a very good job on this.

Plenty of Tutorials online that will guide you through the process
