After I upgraded to 23.1 the Media Browser now resets my Favorites every time I open the app. A bit frustrating when I work on projects that span multiple weeks. Please advise.

If it's doing something like that, it typically means that Premiere is having a file permissions issue and can't write to the presets location.

I have same problems with Win10. Media browser reset Favorites each time I re-launch Premier. How to correct such frustrating issue? all Adobe apps are up to date except Bridge23 which collapced each time even on my new clean PC with all drivers updated

I have the same problem, how do you tell Premiere it does have permission to use that file please? I am running 23.2 on Windows 10.

Try 23.2 I suppose, there's some fixes including Mac-specific things in that.

Having the same issue with Ventura. Used to be able to save locations to my favorites in the media browser but now it no longer does. I'm running premiere as well on a windows 11 desktop and have no issue with saving favorites while running the same version of the application.

Thank you; I was wondering if it was a Windows 10 v Windows 11 issue

I'm surprised no on efrom Adobe has chimed in on this, seems like an important feature that's not working. Am I posting in the wrong forum?

I have this exact prbolem and I've got a temporary solution:
1- Save all the favorites folders you want on media browser the way you want.
2- Save the project (anyone you are currently)
3- Click on file, close project
4- close the "home" or "recent projects" window.
5- click on file, exit
6- open premiere again and your favorites will be there
when you close premiere just by closing the window it does not save the favorites but if you do exactly this way it will keep your favorite changes. works for me, test it yourself and please come back to feedback your result.

This worked, thanks for this workaround, truly never would have figured this out on my own. Not exactly intuitive.
