I export videos every week and haven't changed anything for the last few years and have never had this happen. The encoding starts up fine but after a short amount of time it just stops. When I remove the file and try to export again, the encode fails (pic below)
(here's a closeup of the error text)
I've Tried:
- pausing and unpausing
- removing the file and re-importing into AME
- closing the program and bringing it up again
- Updated both Premiere Pro and AME because I was running off the previous version
- I deleted a portion of the video at the time the render was stopping, but unless there are multiple points in the video that are hanging up, this didn't work. (originally video was stopping at 00:00:09 and now video is stopping around 00:22:16) I don't have any transitions on the video at these points in the video, it is just cut footage
None of this seemingly worked. Let me know if you guys have any ideas.

Try turning off Hardware encoding in the Video tab of the export settings.

It worked! I had to follow every step of that link that you sent. My main concern now is whether or not I can go back to using my exporting presets that I've been using for the last 2 or 3 years. (might not be a huge issue unless there are notable quality losses)
I am going to attempt exporting some other previous projects to make sure there isn't some variable I'm missing. Will update thread once that is done but at least I got the video exported for now.

IDK what's going on but I was able to export a different project with my old preset setting without a hitch... SO i have no clue as to what the issue was with the video I was working on for this thread. Does anybody have an idea as to what could cause the encoder to stop mid export like this so that I can avoid this issue all together?
