Mercury Playback Engine GPU Acceleration issue

Hi I am getting really frustrated using the 2023 version on my MacBook 2014 model, the screen is green with the metal GPU selected but works looks ok when I have mercury playback engine software only option selected... The problem is that it takes forever rendering am trying to get the 2022 version but can not seem to find it, any ideas on how to go about this issue?

Alas 2022 is no longer available.

Hi @George37572807pvtg,

I got your message. You're no longer meeting the GPU system requirements, as Apple no longer supports the NVIDIA GPU for macOS. That's why software only mode is working for you. Sorry about that.
