I am attempting to link some metadata fields, but for some reason the link button is not working. It is acting very strange. I attached a video for reference. Essentially, whenever I hit the link button on any one of the fields of metadata under either the Clip or XMP file windows, it turns gray and does nothing. Then if I deselect the clip and select it again, I have the option of clicking the click button again. I can also drag the bounding edge of the window over the button and expand it again and the option to click the button appears again... I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling. I have tried restarting the computer. I have tried creating a completely different project on my computer's desktop with different video files and the same thing happens.

You need to enable the "Enable clip and XMP metadata linking" option in order for these icons to be meaningful.
