Hello! I normally edit on a Mac but I must produce a long term project (3-4 months) on a PC, which is currently running PP version 24.5.0 on Windows 10 (version 22H2). The NVIDIA card driver is version 560.70. Can anyone kindly let me know if this is a stable configuration/version of software and OS for this long-term project? Thanks to any windows experts out there who have advice!

Good to think that way, keeping the same setup for the whole project. Your system is mostly current. PP and nVidia driver. Your windows 10 is current as of April. So, all in all, you should be good to go. If you want to list some specs of that machine. Processor, Memory, drives, etc, perhaps you're good to go there?

Thanks for your response! It's got an AMD Ryzen 7 3800X with 64GB RAM and SSD's, and it has a GeForce RTX 2070 Super GPU. It's documentray work with little need for graphics, etc. so I'm hoping that's powerful enough for the gig.

If you work with it a little and the performance is good enough, then it should be. A lot depends on the media type you will be editing. If you are getting good media files in say ProRes, you will do OK, but if it's a bunch of h.264 type files, you may need to transcode those to ProRes or use a ProRes proxy. Premiere makes using proxies pretty easy.

BTW: If you already have some of the clips, you can use the free MediaInfo program to get info on your clips. Get the program from the link below and using the 'Tree' view post a screenshot of your clip info: https://mediaarea.net/en/MediaInfo/Download
